Birgitta Cronquist
9 September, 1944—December 23, 2024
Birgitta was instrumental for Cronquist paper studio to move from Strängnäs Sweden to Riga Latvia. I wrote to Lars Cronquist 2010 and got answer from Birgitta. Since then we started communicating by writing, then later she came to Latvia, then I went to Sweden. At the beginning of 2011, paper studio already moved to Riga. In the process, I also met Carl and his family. Birgitta visited Latvia, Riga many times and I invited her to see paper studio in 2017 and she wanted Carl and his family to come to Riga and see how his fathers paper studio was still functioning and Olivia and Emma could make paper there. During those 15 years Birgitta had become a very dear friend to me and my family.
